Nebraska Lottery

Nebraska Pick 4 drawings are held seven days a week, Monday through Sunday. Drawing results will be released to the news media and the public by 10 p.m. each night.

Prizes in Nebraska Pick 4 range from $60 to $6,000. The odds of winning range from 1 in 100 to 1 in 10,000. In all, there are 16 ways to win.

Nebraska Pick 4 gives players the chance to not only select the numbers they wish to play, but also the opportunity to decide what type of play style and potential prizes to play for.

Players can first choose from six bet types:

• Straight: match all four numbers in the exact order drawn
• Box: match all four numbers drawn in any order
• Straight/Box: match all four numbers drawn in exact or any order
• Front Pair: match the first two numbers drawn in exact order
• Middle Pair: match the middle two numbers drawn in exact order
• Back Pair: match the last two numbers drawn in exact order

The bet type selected determines the possible prizes by matching combinations of the winning numbers.

YOUR NUMBERS

For bet types other than Front Pair, Middle Pair, and Back Pair, players will pick four numbers, each from a separate set of ten digits (0 through 9). The numbers can be unique, such as 1, 2, 3, 4 or identical, such as 1, 1, 1, 1.

For the Front Pair, Middle Pair, and Back Pair bet types, select two digits each from a separate set of ten digits (0 through 9). The two numbers can be unqiue or identical.

A standard Nebraska Pick 4 play, consisting of one set of numbers and one bet type for a single drawing, costs $1.

YOUR WAY

The four numbers selected will be matched against the winning numbers drawn according to the six bet types. The 4-way, 6-way, 12-way, and 24- way Box bets are determined by the numbers chosen for your play. For example, to play a 4-way Box select three like numbers and one different number.

Plays with four identical numbers, such as 1, 1, 1, 1, cannot be purchased with the Box or Straight/Box Bet types.

Tickets can be purchased from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. (Central Time) any day of the week except from 9:00 p.m. to 9:03 p.m. on drawing nights. You can pick up to 5 different sets of numbers on each play slip. You can purchase the same numbers for up to 84 consecutive drawings (12 weeks worth) when you use the multi-draw box on the play slip.

The maximum prize liability for any single Nebraska Pick 4 number combination is $450,000. In the event that a number combination is purchased so many times that the liability limit would be reached if that combination was drawn, the game system will stop accepting transactions for that combination for that drawing.
