Lincoln Woman Wins $12,000 Playing Break the Snowbank
Amanda Villarreal of Lincoln won $12,000 playing Break the Snowbank.
Villarreal purchased the winning ticket U-Stop at 610 South 10th St. in Lincoln.
While claiming her prize, Villarreal told lottery officials about when she learned she had won. Villarreal scratched her winning ticket at 2:00 a.m. January 8. She said that she couldn’t sleep after finding out she had won. “I would calm down and then I would look at the ticket and get excited again,” she said. “This is pretty cool.”
As a $2 Scratch game, Break the Snowbank offers players a chance to win prizes from $2 to $12,000. The chances of winning $12,000 are 1 in 120,000, while the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.68.
